1 What are the dumpster dimensions?
Dumpsters are 8 ft wide x 14 ft long and 5 ft tall
2What is the weight of an empty dumpster?
Dumpsters (13 cubic yrds) weigh 2280 pounds empty. The weight of the dumpster does not affect pricing at all. ONLY THE WEIGHT OF THE MATERIALS PUT IN THE DUMPSTER WILL AFFECT PRICING.
3 Will my dumpster have a door that swings open?
Yes. The doors swing open on rear of dumpster.
4 Does the dumpster have a cover or lid?
No. Our dumpsters do not have covers. We cover them during delivery. However we recommend covering during use to avoid rain water and unwanted materials from neighbors to prevent added weight to the container.
5 How is the weight of my debris determined?
The weight is calculated when delivered to the local landfill. Each unit is weighed in to determine gross weight. After dumpster is emptied the unit is weighed again to determine the tare weight. The difference of gross weight – tare weight = actual weight of materials. The scales are regulated by state bureaus of weights and measures.
6 What materials may incur extra costs?
Generally larger items and heavier items such as shingles and concrete could result in extra cost due to weight. Please see list of acceptable and banned items.

8 What does the price include?
The price of a dumpster rental includes a one-time delivery and removal for the selected roll off dumpster, a disposal weight allowance, and a stated rental period. All waste will be disposed of in a fully approved and licensed disposal facility.
9 Will I be billed for extra weight?
Yes, if the weight of the materials in your dumpster exceeds the included weight quoted in your order confirmation, you will be charged for the additional weight at the specified tonnage rate. We are charged by weight at the disposal facility and we pass along this charge accordingly.
10 Will the dumpster cause driveway damage?
Although driveway damage is unlikely, please be aware of the possibility of damage caused by the weight of the dumpster and the contents placed in the dumpster. EDDE is not responsible for any damage due to use and placement or removal of the container. We recommend placement of plywood under the container if concerned about property damage. Please take proper precautions in protecting your driveway.
11 Do I need a dumpster permit?
No, generally you do not need a permit. Usually the only time a permit is needed is if the unit will be place on a sidewalk, roadway or public property. Please check you local guidelines.
12 How large of a space do I need for delivery of the roll off dumpster?
It is recommended to allow 4’ of clearance on all sides of the dumpster to assure adequate clearance. Please refer to our dumper size guide for dumpster dimensions.
ORDERING AND SCHEDULING
1 Is emergency services available?
Yes. However all services are based on availability.
2How far in advance do I need to order a dumpster rental
We recommend a minimum of 48 hours notice before the day of delivery.
3 What forms of payment do we accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Venmo and Cash App.
4 Is it necessary for someone to be there at the time of delivery/removal?
We recommend someone be on site but it is not required. The driver will use their best judgement to the placement of the container if no one is there. There will be a fee charged if dumpster has to be relocated if no one is on site to oversee placement. When container is scheduled to be removed it is customers responsibility to provide a clear unobstructed access to the container. If the container is not accessible you may be charged a wasted trip fee.
5 What if I need to change or cancel my roll off dumpster rental order?
All cancellations or changes must be made within 48 hrs of delivery and may be subject to cancellation and change fees.
ONCE YOU HAVE PLACED
YOUR ORDER
1 What if I am not ready when my scheduled container is delivered?
If the container is not deliverable on its scheduled day of delivery you may incur a wasted trip charge. All fees and charges would have to be paid in full before rescheduled delivery can be made.
2Once my dumpster is full. Then What?
Call and schedule a pick up for that container. If you need another container you will be charged a repeat charge as previous container. Remember it is your responsibility to schedule pick up. If you fail to do so you will be charged according to pricing scale.
3 How long can I keep my dumpster?
Our standard rental is 7 days. If you keep it longer than 7 days you will be charged per our pricing scale. You can keep up to 4 weeks total at which point it will be automatically picked up.
